Join these amazing individuals and organizations in supporting CaveSim
Three easy ways to become part of the community of people who support our educational mission!
Why do we need your support?
It costs a lot to bring high-quality CaveSim education to kids around the United States. Many schools need help affording our programs, and some cannot pay anything to have CaveSim come to their campus. It also costs a lot to produce our high-quality online educational content, and we need your help launching our second mobile cave project.
When you make a purchase on this page, you get to specify what we use the funds for. In case you’re curious about the needs that we have, there’s a wish list below.
Our wish list:
- Funds to support schools that need help affording CaveSim programs.
- All-aluminum 28' enclosed trailer for the new version of CaveSim. Why? So that we can use two trailers simultaneously and teach twice as many kids about cave conservation, science, and exploration. Cost: $40,325 (including shipping and added features like air conditioning, generators, and electric jacks). Current progress toward goal: $6,001.
- Diesel pickup truck for transporting the new mobile cave. Approximate cost: $20,000 (based on the price of a low-mileage model-year 2003 Ford Excursion 7.3L). Current progress toward goal: $0
- 8TB SSD (solid-state drive) for storing video files. Cost: $1175.
- Rode Wireless Go audio link and wireless microphone for improved audio during online programs and in videos. Cost: $199.
