Story time for pre-K through 2nd grade

In this new series, CaveSim inventor Dave Jackson reads children’s books with his son.  We hope that you will join us to learn about caves and cave conservation. After each book, we share a fun activity for kids and families to do together.

Zach Pennebaker is a visually impaired caver from Texas.  He has an incredible story of perseverance, confidence, and strength.  We hope you will be inspired by Zach’s amazing story.

 

Jim Funk is a caver, climber, basketball player, and naturalist who also has cerebral palsy. Jim has a great sense of humor, and makes it look easy to overcome incredible obstacles. Watch Dave’s interview to hear Jim’s perspective on environmental conservation, education, sports, and just a bit of politics.

 

 

In this next interview, Dave has a panel discussion with Bree Jameson and Mio Spyker. Bree is an African American caver and rock climber whose passion is helping minorities experience the natural world. Mio is an Asian American caver and climber who performs life-saving surgeries for people with cancer.
